Bangkok Canal Tour :
12:30 a.m. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time and wait for your pick up in your hotel lobby. Please present your booking voucher to the driver before starting the tour. Then the car will take you to the pier.
Sit back and take the boat along to the Chao Phraya River of Thonburi to Wat Arun and the Royal Barges National Museum and Baan Silapin.
A motorboat will takes you into the Bangkok Noi canal and past the National Museum of Royal Barges, The museum was formerly a dry dock for barges and warships under the care of the Royal Household and the Royal Thai Navy. The dock and barges sustained severe bombing damage during World War II, but in 1949 they were restored by the Fine Arts Department as part of the Thai cultural heritage. Repairs were completed and the dock became the National Museum of Royal Barges in 1972.
After that stops at Baan Silaphin, The building is made from wood in an L shape and has 2 floors. The top of the building is open and the gallery shows both artwork and photographs. Below, the building is divided into an area for any artwork. Tourists can buy souvenirs such as postcards from the sell zone. Moreover, they have a puppet theater. The show only has one time to show per day and that starts at 2 p.m. except for Wednesday. you can see the show during you stay.
Then stop over Wat Arun, is its central prang (Khmer-style tower) which is encrusted with colorful porcelain. This is interpreted as a stupa-like pagoda encrusted with colored faience. The corners are surrounded by four smaller satellite prangs. The prang is decorated by seashells and bits of porcelain which had previously been used as ballast by boats coming to Bangkok from China.
After your boat tour then back at the River City pier and enjoy a relaxing drive back to your hotel.
